Private Dog Training Lessons at York Maine location . This is canine and owner coaching and training.
Basic Dog Training Includes The Following Commands: Sit on the Dog (Be Quiet and Orderly), Let's Go, Recall (Come), Heel, Sit, Place, Stand, Down, and Stay. Simply fill out and submit the Client Information Form, and we will contact you to arrange coordinating times and dates. You can also fill out the Private Training Contract in advance and send it in with any vaccination records. These are perfect for your companion dog. Basic obedience is completed in 12 weekly sessions lasting one hour at Mannerly Mutts' facility, which costs $420.00 (35.00 per hour) plus equipment needed. Certification by Mannerly Mutts is only given if client competes in an AKC Novice A competition and qualifies with three legs. Canine and owner training is also available to prepare for AKC obedience competitions, retrieving, off lead, Therapy Dog, and Canine Good Citizen. We specialize in training and behavioral modification plans for behaviorally challenged canines and households with multi dog issues. You may want to check out our residency program. The Dog Daycare Program:
Daycare Monday-Friday slots are open. These will fill up come the spring, so call fast for immediate placement. We also offer a day train program where your dog will participate in individual and group lessons during their day, as well as playing. ***It is important that your dog is off leash trained in order to attend (unless in the day train, and we will take care of that for you). If not, we can provide the training here, but no untrained dogs, and they need to be off lead trained, can attend our daycare. Dog Walking Services are also available on weekdays or weekends. You can purchase training for your dog here so that they may attend, or be prepared to demonstrate what your dog already knows. Daycare costs 20.00 per day per dog. Residency Dog Training Program at York Maine location in Fall 2009 and Winter 2010:.
These are programs where clients leave there dogs with us for a minimum of three weeks. An eight week course will finish up basic training for a certain temperament in dogs. The cost is $700.00 per week which includes 14 hours of training time a week and daily boarding. Equipment needed, that client wants for themselves, is additional. Training happens both on site and in areas such as Portsmouth, Long Sands Beach, Short Sands Beach, and York Downtown area. The client will also get daily blog updates, and additional follow up lessons. The amount of follow up lessons depends on the length of the package purchased. However, the owner can always purchase additional private lessons. Simply fill out and submit the Client Information Form. You can read through the Board and Train Contract, but it may need to be modified to fit your needs, unless you are going for the full Board and Train basic training program. This program is perfect for people that do not have enough time for the "up front" work. The residency program also helps out those with aggressive dogs, so that their dogs are in a better frame of mind when they return to their owner. However, be aware, it is up to the owner to keep up and maintain training according to the guidelines given and implemented by Mannerly Mutts.
