No group classes scheduled at this time.   If you are interested in group classes, please fill out the client information form  and indicate group classes on the form.

Mannerly Mutts is well versed in behaviorally challenged dogs.   However, we start behaviorally challenged dogs on private lessons first.   The client interview form will give us an idea of how to proceed with your case.

Beginning Basic Obedience for Dogs 6 Months and Over:
  1. Group package cost for 6 one hour long lessons, dog training manual on group blog, and possible videoing of the group lesson will be 120.00.
  2. Includes minimum of an hour weekly session.
  3. Commands that are expected to be started will be walk on loose leash nicely, heel on leash, calm for company or distractions, sit (on leash), down (on leash), recall on command (on long line), and stand (great for socialization and grooming).
  4. Exposure to distractions, and possibly field trips if the group's distraction work around each other is sufficient.
  5. Certificate upon completion to trainer's satisfaction of final test.
  6. Videotaped (not well, I grant you) of the group session which will be found on a blog. Also this will be dependent upon the weather and the health of my video camera.

 

When you get the basics of obedience down, it opens up a new world of freedom, fun, and adventure for your human and canine team. If all you want are drama free outings with your dog, successful completion of this course will have your team on their way. If you want to go onto dog sports and classes with other dog and canine teams, this class is also perfect to get owners and their dogs ready.
